What we collect, and what we do with it

The short version: we only ask for what we need to answer you about a building, we never sell it, and if you want it gone, we delete it.

Last updated September 16, 2026

What you give us

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email, and anything else you choose to fill in — phone number, city, and your message.

When you ask the estimator for an itemized breakdown, we collect your name, email, and optionally your phone and city, along with the building you designed: its size, colors, doors, options, and the price range it showed you.

Using the estimator without asking for the breakdown collects nothing about you. The price range is worked out on our server and nothing you enter is saved until you choose to send your details.

What we use it for

To answer you. Your enquiry is saved to our system and emailed to our office so someone can call or write back about your project. That’s it.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone to market to you. We don’t add you to a mailing list.

How it is protected

Your email address, phone number, and message are encrypted before they are stored, so a copy of our database on its own does not reveal them. The site only runs over an encrypted connection, and the part of the system where enquiries are read is limited to our own staff, behind a login.

The alert sent to our office is an ordinary email, and it contains the details you sent us so we can reply.

Who else handles it

Like most small businesses, we use outside services to run the website rather than servers of our own: a web host, a database provider, and an email delivery service that sends the enquiry alert to our office. They handle your information only to provide those services to us.

We would also share information if the law required us to.

Visits to the site

To see which pages and buildings people find useful, the site records which pages are viewed, which catalog filters are used, and the website that sent you here on your first page. Those visits are grouped by a random code kept in your browser tab, which is discarded when you close it. We don’t record your name, and we don’t connect visits to anything you submit through a form.

There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics — nothing from Google, Facebook, or anyone else follows you around the site. The only cookie we set is the sign-in cookie for our own staff.

As with any website, our host’s servers briefly keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

To stop spam, when you send a form we also keep a scrambled code made from your IP address for one day, so we can tell if the same connection is sending the same form over and over. It can’t be turned back into your address.

Links to Google

The buttons to read or leave a Google review take you to Google. Once you are there, Google’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep enquiries for as long as they are useful for following up on your project and for our business records. If you would like us to delete what you sent — or just want to know what we have — ask, and we will take care of it.

Children

This site is for people planning a building. It is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
